Best Moving On Songs After Your Relationship Break-Up

Every where you look, your senses are assaulted by stuffed toys, heart-shaped chocolate and couples in love. If you've just endured a break-up this is the last thing you want to see. This is why I've prepared something special just for you.
I've thought long and hard and researched some of the best 'Moving On' songs I've ever heard. So, forget No Doubt and 'Don't Speak.' Forget Sinead O'Connor and 'Nothing Compares To You.' Here's to your 'Get Up and Go!' 'Forget and Move On!' I've pasted a few lines of each song to show why they made my final 5. Here's my count down. (And some extra singles articles for you).

Moving on songs after your relationship break-up

Carly Simon - You’re So Vain

You're so vain
You probably think this song is about you
You're so vain
I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you? Don't you?

Justin Timberlake - Cry Me A River

You told me you loved me
Why did you leave me, all alone
Now you tell me you need me
When you call me, on the phone
Girl I refuse, you must have me confused
With some other guy
Your bridges were burned, and now it's your turn
To cry, cry me a river
Cry me a river-er
Cry me a river
Cry me a river-er, yea yea

Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone

But Since U Been Gone
I can breathe for
the first time
Im so movin on
Yeah yeah
Thanks to you
Now I get
What I want
Since U Been Gone

4.
Nancy Sinatra - These Boots Are Made For Walking

These boots are made for walking,
And that's just what they'll do
One 'a these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.

And the best of all:
Gloria Gaynor - I will survive

Go on now go walk out the door
just turn around now
'cause you're not welcome anymore
weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye
you think I'd crumble
you think I'd lay down and die
Oh no, not I
I will survive
as long as i know how to love
I know I will stay alive
I've got all my life to live
I've got all my love to give
and I'll survive
I will survive

So, don't stay at home and cry any more. Sing along to these songs and before long you'll be saying, 'Good riddance! Go on and cry me a river! Walk out the door!'
And don't you forget Carole Bayer Sager's 'You're Moving Out Today'. I put this one last because it could be the one you play when they're on their way out.

When you've had your full, here's an article that will help you break it off completely, 10 Sure Ways To Get Over Him. It works both ways.
