About The Relationship Blog

Thanks for your time, the visit, and your comments. I really do appreciate them.

I started The Relationship Blog years ago as a way of storing dating/love articles in one place. At that time I was concentrating on writing mainly on relationship-type articles geared towards women.

A column developed through the years, and it was the women who wrote to me who made me realise that all my training and studies had honed the inherent aptitude for (and, indeed personal need to) giving astute advice. I think it's a survival tactic most 'damaged' children such as myself develop.

Empathy is the sparkling fruit that is produced when you live life on the edge of hope, on the lookout for impending trouble. You learn to detect the mood of the people around you with fine precision. This is imperative for survival. It's what keeps you out of harm's way. This sixth sense reaches its peak around puberty and by then most of us can read other people's moods in the dark.

After the dangerous periods have passed, this somewhat unfortunate gift can be developed into something positive – empathy and insight. Formal training to coach others is but a formality. Hence, my column exploded into tiny fractions of self-improvement articles, giving birth to the blog you see evolved here. There is something here for everyone, so I'm sure you'll find a gem hidden just for you. Please subscribe to this blog. It is free and you can unsubscribe whenever your purpose is no longer being served.

Just click on the panel on the right (across) and you can have my new posts straight to your inbox.  Thank you.

Let me also say that a small amount of my posts are sponsored. As you can see, I have adverts and affiliate links on this site. I also write advertorial articles for businesses, some of which I publish on this blog for payment.  These help with running and web hosting costs incurred from having a domain blog such as this one. Regardless of this fact, all views expressed here are mine and mine alone. Thank you for your patience.

I can also help your business expansion by creating well-written, and top-quality articles and press releases for you. Send me a message for a quote.

The relationship blog is for sale I think I've taken this blog as far as I can, and am selling all the original content I've got here. If you're starting up a new online business in the relationship/dating genre and need original, helpful, solid articles for your site, this deal is perfect for you!  I'm now a published author and run a business too. Writing has taken more of a backseat, but as I'm still writing Relationship articles, I'd be happy to craft one per month for the new owner (at an agreed price) - to carry on the very popular Relationship Forum page
